We are thrilled to announce the latest release of Teamstudio Developer Tools Suite - Edition 35. This release is a significant release that brings 64-bit support to our tool suite for compatibility with the new HCL 12.0.2 64-bit Designer client. This update is a significant milestone for us and our clients as it helps to support app development on the HCL Domino platform into the future.
What's New in this Release
In addition to the 64-bit support now included within our toolset, we have also made significant performance optimizations to the CIAO! client UI in Edition 35. In particular, we have focused on improving the UI's performance over slower network connections. We understand that our clients work in a variety of different environments, and it is crucial to provide a tool that can operate efficiently regardless of network speed or latency. Our performance enhancements include major improvements in launching CIAO! and updating the UI after a check-in/out operation. These changes will result in faster load times, smoother navigation, and a more responsive user experience overall.
When we compared the previous version's performance metrics within a few example scenarios working with CIAO to manage development on applications hosted on remote servers, we saw an average of 15x to 20x improvement in responsiveness. While we might not break the internet with this release, we are certainly breaking down the barriers to remote work.

Obtaining the Latest Version
To ensure a smooth installation process, separate installers are now available for 32-bit and 64-bit clients. It is important to select the installer that matches your Notes client version, regardless of your Windows version. For instance, if you are using 32-bit Notes on a 64-bit Windows system, you should download the 32-bit installer. During installation, the installer will automatically check your Notes version and prevent you from installing a version of the tools that does not match your Notes version. This guarantees that the tools will work seamlessly in your existing environment.

Teamstudio Profiler customers please be aware that all tools except for Profiler have been updated to run in a 64-bit environment. Profiler will continue to be fully supported on 32-bit Notes clients but will not be available on 64-bit.
How to Install or Upgrade
After acquiring the suitable installer for your HCL Notes Client version, initiate the installer, and the setup wizard will walk you through the configuration procedure. If you have previously downloaded and installed the e35 Beta Release, kindly uninstall the 'Notes Tools' prior to running the new installer.
For those with active subscriptions, your existing serial numbers will still function. However, if you need to update your keys for any reason, you will be prompted during the launch of a tool to access the License Manager, where you can add or modify existing subscription licenses.
