Included Within This Release
@DbLookup - If you've been using @DbLookup to query data in your Notes database, you'll be happy to know that Export can now evaluate calls within the current database. You can use most common @DbLookup options that you're familiar with, and there's no need to rerun the initial archive step (to XML). Just rerun your PDF or HTML Export, and you're good to go.
Binary Rich Text - We have improved the handling of binary rich text conversion. Where we typically rely upon Notes to convert rich text into XML there are situations where corruption within the document would cause Notes to save the raw binary data within the DXL. We will now attempt to display this data depending on the severity of the corruption. In extreme cases, we may only be able to display a general error *Invalid Rich Text*. It is important to note that quite often these types of corruptions may also be repaired by resaving the document within the Notes client after performing a minor change and rerunning the archive, thereby fixing the corruption.
Lastly, we've been busy bees over here at headquarters, and we're excited to share the fruits of our labor with you as we have also added a whopping 70+ customer-requested improvements and issues. We know that our customers are the heart of our business, and we're committed to providing you with the best possible experience. So if you're experiencing any problems with Export, be sure to check out the Release Notes for a potential fix.

How to Install or Upgrade

How to Report Issues
One way to make yourself feel young again is to simply consider the average age of a typical Notes application. Working with these ancient artifacts, we have encountered many interesting scenarios. In the past, when Export reported an error, we may have asked you to collect up design components, logs, DXL files or other related details to help us diagnose the problem. In an effort to streamline this process a little we have added the ability to collect relevant components into a mini archive containing the data document, the error message, and any DXL for forms, subforms, shared fields, and embedded views (both design and data) that were used to export the document.
If you do experience an error during HTML/PDF Export, you will be presented with an option to 'Create a Support File' after clicking on the error link for 'More Details'.
We hope you enjoy this latest release of Export! If you have any questions, feedback, and now support files(!) please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
As always, we appreciate your input and support as we continue working hard to make our software the best it can be. Thanks for using Teamstudio.
